This year, Plant Based Live took place on 8th & 9th September 2018 at ExCeL in London. It comprised of two full days of inspirational talks, cookery demonstrations and wonderful food.

Heather was invited by the plant based live organisers to showcase a selection of her award winning plant based products from the VBites range at the Vegan life kitchen on Sunday 9th September.
Heather gave an informative cookery demonstration showing how simple it is to prepare and cook incredible tasting vegan food, whilst educating the audience on gut health and energy requirements from food. The dish of the day was a delicious vegan fish and chorizo stew, using the VBites Fishless Steak and the VBites meat-free Chorizo chunks. Again, Heather re-iterated her main purposes for creating the VBites range of 104 Award winning, Kosher and Halal, meat, fish and dairy free products.

Heather said:

"I want to offer the carnivores an alternative to their daily diet and show them that a transition to a meat, fish and dairy free lifestyle can be stress free. This will not only have a huge impact on their health, and that of the animals, but by reducing their meat, fish and dairy consumption this will have a long term affect on the planet by reducing global warming produced through intensive global farming.”


After the demo Heather stood for over an hour answering an array of questions from inquisitive attendees about nutrition and the benefits of a vegan lifestyle.
