Celebrity Catwalk Los Angeles, 27th August 2009
Their was a tangible air of anticipation in the crowd as Heather was to premiere her exciting new recycled Be@One clothing line. Society throws away over a million tones of clothing and textiles into the rubbish bins annually so eco aware and fashion loving Heather decided to transform these items into wonderful new and exciting forms for her Be@One range. Heather was the last to show her collection, so excitement had been building all night. Although not a professional catwalk show, the models did a fabulous job for this fundraising charity event. They had no time for rehearsals or dress fittings prior to the show but when Heather's celebrity models finally strutted confidently down the catwalk to the premiere showing of her video 'Feeling Good', the audience was very appreciative of her debut collection. The breathtaking video created an instant impact with the audience, showing images of the beautiful world we live in and how it is changing through society's carelessness. Heather mixed up the outlandish with extremely wearable black eveningwear. Her fishtail jacket and high waisted skirt both with flashes of vibrant recycled satin received lots of interest and excited comments on the night with several garments selling directly on the night. The website will be up very shortly so come and take a look for yourself at Heather’s exciting new range. A very busy Heather also received an award for her animal activism on the night. A short film biography of Heather’s work helping animals was shown to the audience, before she took to the stage to rapturous applause for her hands on style of celebrity activism. The Celebrity Catwalk event was hosted by beautiful, Co-star of “Girls Next Door" Bridget Marquardt. Grammy award-winning singer Mya, high fashion photographer and judge of Americas next top model Nigel Baker also received awards for their work helping to protect animals. Some of the Celebrity models on the night included the gorgeous Edyta Sliwinska, Anna Trebunskava, Maksim Chmerkovskly and JP Calderon who looked stunning in Be@One designs. Backstage a mass of models did a remarkable job in the hot environment of the changing rooms , quickly changing into so many wonderful outfits before strutting down the catwalk without a hair out of place looking absolutely gorgeous under the cool led lights of the Hollywood highlands. Such a brilliant night and for such a wonderful cause! Funds raised from Celebrity Catwalk 2009 will make a real difference supporting the National Animal Rescue that works tirelessly to improve the lives of homeless animals.

Celebrity Catwalk 2009 was superb this year. We’ve all only just landed from all the excitement of this wonderful event. This celebrity fashion fundraiser was buzzing with electricity all night long.
