VEGAN campaigner and Dancing on Ice star Heather Mills is joining forces with vegetarian and vegan organisation Viva! to host a series of special cookery shows in six major cities across the UK this summer.

Heather Mills to cook up a storm with animal group Viva! VEGAN campaigner and Dancing on Ice star Heather Mills is joining forces with vegetarian and vegan organisation Viva! to host a series of special cookery shows in six major cities across the UK this summer.

The Incredible Veggie Cookery Shows, taking place from June 8-17, will see Viva! patron and restaurateur Heather leading the evenings in London, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester, Carlisle and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Fun, Fast, Fabulous Fruity Funday Food! Making it dead easy to go and be vegan

The emphasis will be on the simple and delicious - quick and satisfying - even for the most ardent carnivore! Heather will be demonstrating popular dishes which have been tested at her VBites restaurant, such as:

• Beefy Style Stroganoff
  Lemongrass-style Chicken
  Sweetcorn & Chicken-style Chowder
  Vegan Sag Paneer
  Chicken-style Creamy Nut Korma
  Tom Gai Soup
• Sweet Potato Green Thai Curry

Heather says: "I'm pleased to be taking part in Viva!'s Incredible Veggie Cookery Shows. Vegan cooking is such a passion of mine; I'm really looking forward to sharing these fantastic meat-free recipes with as many people as possible. Come along and see for yourself just how easy it is to prepare quick, healthy, mouth-watering food for all the family, which is great for your body, animals and the environment."

The events will also include talks from Viva! founder & director, Juliet Gellatley (June 8-10) or Viva! associate director, Tony Wardle (June 15-17), plus free delicious vegan food samples from Redwood Wholefoods and a wide range of merchandise and campaigns information from Viva! and the Vegetarian & Vegan Foundation.

Juliet says: "We are delighted to have Heather onboard our Incredible Veggie Cookery Shows. Her cookery demonstrations at previous Viva! events have always proved extremely popular, so we expect to welcome large crowds at all the venues. If you are curious about reducing your meat and dairy intake, or going vegetarian or  
vegan, come along to one of the shows for all the inspiration and information you could possibly need."

Doors open at 6.30pm at all venues (expect Birmingham - open at 6pm).
Cooking Demonstrations will run from 7.40pm-8.40pm (Birmingham 7.10pm-8.10pm).

Talks run from 7pm-7.35pm (Birmingham 6.30pm-7.05pm).

ENTRY IS FREE & FREE FOOD SAMPLES TOO.
